My first camping trip was to Zion and Bryce Canyon. It really was really quite beautiful although the condition was bad enough that I don't think I want to repeat the exact same experience. Zion, Utah  We spent our first day in Zion, hiking up to the top of a mountain that I don't know the name of. There was a natural pond there. Of course, I can't even describe the beauty of the scenery from the top of the mountain. Zion, Utah  Bryce was all about the rocks. They were not at all JUST rocks. They were cities of rocks, the rocks of the ancient gods and goddesses almost. Bryce Canyon, UT  | Zion, Utah  Zion was incredibly green everywhere, compared to everywhere else in Utah. Zion, Utah  We had our lunch under the waterfall, literally! It was a little rest area in the flat rock area behind the falling waters. That is something I had never thought I'd experience. |
